Answer:

{\large{\red{\mapsto{\maltese{\underline{\green{\boxed{\blue{\underbrace{\overbrace{\pink{\pmb{\bf{answer:}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

When we compare the two solids, we see that quartz is a crystalline solid with relatively long-range order and glass is amorphous solid with short range order and has a tendency to flow. When quartz is heated, it can be easily converted into glass.

List some ways houses would be built differently if gravity were much stronger or weaker
Afina-wow [57]
If gravity where much weaker, then the houses wouldnt need as much structural support, and then could be built much more taller as they wouldnt go through as much stress. and if gravity was stronger, buildings would need to be alot more structurally sound and wouldnt be able to maintain a tall structure as the force of gravity would be too much for them. hope i helped :3

What happens when you put one hand in ice water and the other in warm water
NikAS [45]

When you put one hand in ice water and the other in warm water, the hand in warm water will feel the room temp water cooler, and the hand in cold water feel room temperature water warmer.

<h3>What is thermal adaptation?</h3>

The ability of a body to adjust to temperature is called thermal adaptation. Mammals are the animals who can adjust the temperature of their body.

The reptiles are not able to adjust their body temperature, because they are poikilothermic. They have to take the help of outer environment to adjust their body temperature.

Thus, when you put one hand in ice water and the other in warm water, the hand in warm water will feel the room temp water cooler, and the hand in cold water feel room temperature water warmer.
