Substitute -1 in for the x in the equation.

y=3x+4
y=3(-1)+4
y=-3+4
y=1

So, the answer is D.

Is this for area and perimeter? If so, first make the fraction a decimal, (that would be 3.5). Then, for permeter, add 3.5 + 3.5 + 9 + 9, which is 25, for area, multiply 3.5 by 9, which is 31.5. Hope this helped!
