The answer is no!

There can't be 20 students in that class because the ratio is 4:9 so its either 4 boys and 9 girls or 4 girls and 9 boys. This is a total of 13 students because (4+9=13).The answer is That there can not be 20 students in that class because there is only 13 students.

Can anyone please help me?
Yanka [14]

Answer:

B.

Step-by-step explanation:

Parentheses mean multiplication in this case. So it would be 2 x -3 OR -3 + -3. When multiplying a negative and a positive the answer will ALWAYS be negative. So you would move to the left on a number line.

pogonyaev

Answer:

51,111%

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that 45% have a dog but no cat.  While 23% have both a dog and a cat.

Then Pr(X has cat|X has dog) = Pr(X has dog and cat)/Pr(X has dog)

= Pr(X has dog and cat)/Pr(X has dog) = 0.23/0.45 = 0.51 ≈ 51,111%

The probability that a student’s family owns a cat if the family owns a dog is 51,111%
