Answer:

Biodiversity is a measure that combines richness and evenness across species. It is often measured because high biodiversity is perceived a synonymous with ecosystem health. Diverse communities are believed to have increased stability, increased productivity, and resistance to invasion and other disturbances.Biodiversity gives resilience from the microbes that contribute to the formation of the human biome to the genes that help us adapt to stress in the environmentsupports all forms of livelihoods, may help regulate disease, and is necessary for physical, mental, and spiritual health and social well-being.

After having read, how do you think pollution in one sphere can have an impact on another? Be specific and explain.
Orlov [11]

Answer:

Pollution can impact other spheres

Explanation:

Okay here ya go :)

As more and more pollution occurs it can cause the ozone layer to slowly start to decay in a way as the sphere get thinner. What this impacts is the troposphere. Since the ozone layer starts to fade away it can't filter out as much harsh rays from the sun. Those rays eventually get to the earth's surface and bounces off the surface warming up the earth causing life to be affected in the troposphere by warming up the earth.

Fungi often function as decomposers in an ecosystem. If you traced the carbon in a molecule of carbon dioxide from the air into
nignag [31]

Answer:

algae

Explanation:

If a carbon in a molecule of carbon dioxide from the air is traced into a molecule of glucose inside a fungal cell, the carbon must have gone through an algae in order to get into the fungus.

Fungi generally do not have the ability to fix carbon dioxide through photosynthesis. However, they are able to form a symbiotic relationship with algae through an organism known as lichen.

In lichen, the fungi and the algae enter a mutually beneficial relationship in which the fungi provide moisture and nutrient to the algae and in turn, the algae provide food to the fungi out of the sugar produced from photosynthesis.

Hence, a carbon traced from the air to a fungi most likely passed through an algae as a result of symbiotic relationship between the two organisms.
