Atomic number: 6 / the atomic number will always be the amount of electrons an element has
Element: Carbon (C)
Mass: 13 / you can find the mass by adding the protons and neutrons together
Charge: 0 or neutral / if an element has the same number of protons and electrons it will be a neutral charge
Isotope: Carbon-13 / all you do is take the element name and the mass and write the isotope like I did above

I hope this help! If you have any questions feel free to ask

A 2.40 kg object on a frictionless horizontal track is attached to the end of a horizontal spring whose force constant is 5.00 N
klemol [59]

Answer: Hello! Here your answer......

Force = 10.244 Newtons

b) No of oscillations = 0.88

Explanation:

Since the block executes SHM we can write it's position as function of time as

ω is the natural frequency of the system

A is the amplitude of the system

Thus accleration of the block

Thus using the given values at t= 3.50 sec we can calculate the acceleration as

thus force can be calculated using newtons second law as

b)

Now no of oscillations can be obtained as

no of oscillations in 3.50 seconds = 3.50/3.976 = 0.88

Hope this helps! (Brainly)♥

A material having an index of refraction of 1.35 is used as an antireflective coating on a piece of glass (n = 1.50). What shoul
exis [7]

Answer:

103.70 nm

Explanation:

The minimum thickness of the film is given by t=\frac{\lambda }{4n} where \lambda is the wavelength and n is the index of the refraction

We have n =1.35

Wavelength \lambda =560nm

So the minimum thickness of the film t=\frac{\lambda }{4n}=\frac{560}{4\times 1.35}=103.70\ nm

One small speaker is placed 3m to the east of a second speaker, and a listener stands 4m directly south of one of the speakers.
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

The value is \lambda  =  2 \  m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

     The distance of the speaker  from the  second speaker  to the east is  d = 3 \ m

      The distance of the speaker  from the listener  to the south is     a = 4 \ m

Generally given that if the speaker move in any direction, their sound become  louder , it then mean that the position of the listener of minimum sound (i.e a position of minima ) ,

Generally the path difference of the sound produce by both speaker at a position of minima is mathematically represented as

              y =  \frac{\lambda}{2}

Generally considering the orientation  of the speakers and applying Pythagoras theorem we see that  distance from the second speaker to the listener  is mathematically represented as

             b =  \sqrt{d^ 2 + a^2 }

=>           b =  \sqrt{3^ 2 + 4^2 }

=>           b = 5

Generally the path difference between the two speaker with respect to the  listener is

              y =  b - a

=>           y = 5 - 4

=>           y = 1

So

              1 =  \frac{\lambda}{2}

=>           \lambda  =  2 \  m

How much work would be needed to lift the ball from the 2-m shelf to the 5-m shelf, and how much potential energy would it have
Stells [14]

Answer:

a) 2.94 N

b) 4.90 N

Explanation:

Let us assume that the weight of the ball is 0.98 N

Solution:

a) An object’s gravitational potential energy depends on two factors which are height and its weight (or mass). The equation for gravitational potential energy (PE) is given as:

Potential energy = weight (w) * height (h)

PE = wh

Potential energy at 2 m shelf = weight * height = 0.98 N * 2 m = 1.96 N

Potential energy at 5 m shelf = weight * height = 0.98 N * 5 m = 4.90 N

The work needed to lift the ball from the 2-m shelf to the 5-m shelf = Potential energy at 5 m shelf - Potential energy at 2 m shelf

The work needed to lift the ball from the 2-m shelf to the 5-m shelf = 4.90 N - 1.96 N = 2.94 N

b) Potential energy at 5 m shelf = weight * height = 0.98 N * 5 m = 4.90 N
