When a wave is refracted, Group of answer choices it enters a new medium or material and the wave bends and changes speed. An ex

ample is how a straw looks bent in a glass of water. it bounces off a surface, like when you see yourself in the mirror. its waves have gotten bunched up and the frequency is higher, like when an ambulance is coming towards you with its sirens on, it has a higher pitch. it has encountered a barrier and is bent around it. An example is when you can hear someone through an open doorway but you cannot see them.

Answer: When waves travel from one medium to another the frequency never changes. As waves travel into the denser medium, they slow down and wavelength decreases. Part of the wave travels faster for longer causing the wave to turn. The wave is slower but the wavelength is shorter meaning frequency remains the same.

The negative work done is equal to the difference in the......... Electric potential energy Electric flux Electric potential Ele
Leto [7]

Answer:

Electric potential energy

Explanation:

The Electric potential energy of a system is less than that carried out by electrostatic forces during the development of the system (as long as charges are initially cut infinitely).

The change in potential energy between an initial and final configuration  is equal to minus the work done by the electrostatic forces.

Which of the following statements is true? The square root of the molecular weight of a gas is equal to its rate of diffusion. T
forsale [732]
The diffusion coefficient of the gas is proportional to the average rate of thermal motion of the molecules.

the average velocity is inversely proportional to the square root of the molar mass

Which describes newton’s law of universal gravitation?
Zielflug [23.3K]

(B) All objects attract other objects

To be specific, the following formula defines this theory very clearly:

F = G * (m1 * m2) / r^2

The Force is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.
