The answer for the following problem is mentioned below.

  • <u><em>Therefore the molarity of the solution is 3 × </em></u>10^{-4}<u><em> M.</em></u>

Explanation:

Given:

mass of sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH) = 80.0 grams

Gram molecular mass of sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH) = 40.0 gram/mole

volume of the solution (v) = 6.00 L = 6000 ml

To find:

molarity of the solution (m)

We know,

m = \frac{n}{v}

where,

m represents the molarity of the solution

n represents the no of moles

v represents the volume of the solution

we also know;

n = \frac{m}{M}

where,

m represents the mass of the sodium hydroxide

M represents the Gram molar mass of the solution

So,

n = \frac{80}{40}

n = 2

So,

m =  \frac{2}{6000}

m = 3 × 10^{-4} M

<u><em>Therefore the molarity of the solution is 3 × </em></u>10^{-4}<u><em> M.</em></u>

UNO [17]

We use the formula:

PV = nRT

First let us get the volume V:

volume = 14 ft * 12 ft * 10 ft = 1,680 ft^3

Convert this to m^3:

volume = 1680 ft^3 * (1 m / 3.28 ft)^3 = 47.61 m^3

n = PV / RT

n = (1 atm) (47.61 m^3) / (293.15 K * 8.21x10^-5 m3 atm / mol K)

What are the products of the complete combustion of a hydrocarbon in excess oxygen
dangina [55]
The products for the complete combustion of a hydrocarbon in excess air is carbon dioxide and water. Any hydrocarbon when reacted with oxygen will always yield the said products. Incomplete combustion, on the other hand, yields carbon monoxide and water.

7 Which physical characteristic of a solution may
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

2= its color

Explanation:

Transition elements are present in the middle of periodic table. These are d-block elements.

These are 38 elements.

All transition elements have partially filled d orbitals.

They showed color in compound because of d-d transition.

During the d-d transition electron absorbed the energy and emit the reminder energy. The emission is usually in the form of color light.

The color of ion is complementary to the absorbed color.

The transition elements are used as a catalyst in industries such as polymer, petroleum industries.

They are ductile, conduct heat and electricity.
