M < PQS + m < RQS = 180° because they are supplementary angles.

Therefore:
(3x + 3) + (x + 19) = 180

3x — 3 + x + 19 = 180

4x + 16 = 180

Subtract 16 from both sides

4x — 16 = 180 — 16

4x = 164

Divide both sides by 4:

4x/4 = 164/4

x = 41

Therefore, the correct answer is x = 41

Answer:

As shown in picture, the area is divided into 4 parts: 3 triangles and 1 rectangles.

Total area:

A = smallest triangle + medium triangle + largest triangle + rectangle

 = 2 x 2 x 1/2 + 2 x 6 x 1/2 + 4 x (2 + 2 + 6) x 1/2 + 2 x 2

 = 2 + 6 + 20 + 4

 = 32

Help! ASAP!!!
solniwko [45]

Answer:

7.2 units

Step-by-step explanation:

Coordinates of city A = (0, 0)

Coordinates of city B = (6, 4)

Use the distance formula to find the distance between the two cities as follows:

AB = \sqrt{(x_2 - x_1)^2 + (y_2 - y_1)^2}

Let,

A(0, 0) = (x_1, y_1)

B(6, 4) = (x_2, y_2)

Plug in the values into the formula

AB = \sqrt{(6 - 0)^2 + (4 - 0)^2}

AB = \sqrt{(6)^2 + (4)^2}

AB = \sqrt{36 + 16} = \sqrt{52}

AB = 7.2 (nearest tenth)

Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

There would be 12 gallons left

Step-by-step explanation:

If there was 76 of the 2 quarter pitchers that would make 152 Qt and 152 Qt equals 38 gallons so 50 - 38 = 12

5. Assuming that a is not equal to c, find the x-value of the intersection point of the lines y = ax +b and y = cx + d.
Ostrovityanka [42]

The x-value of the intersection point of the lines is ( d - b)/(a-c)

Intersection of lines

Given the equation of a line expressed as;

y = ax +b and;

y = cx + d.

Equating both lines, we will have:

 • ax + b = cx + d

Make x the subject of the formula:

ax - cx = d = b

x (a-c) = d - b

x = ( d - b)/(a-c)

Hence the x-value of the intersection point of the lines is ( d - b)/(a-c)
