Which expression can be used to find the retail price of an item that was bought at wholesale for $112 and sold at a 40% markup?
umka2103 [35]
D. $112 + 0.40($112) is the answer

The wholesale price = $112
Markup percentage = 40% or 0.40
So, the expression that will give the retail price of the item = 112 + 0.40 (112)
Retail price = purchase/wholesale price plus markup
