20 students like watching television but do not like reading

Answer:

110/170 = 0.6471 = 64.7% or 65%

Step-by-step explanation:

                              reading |   television

Television          |    70        |    20        |        90 total for TV

___________________________________________________

Reading             |    40        |    40         |       80 total for reading

___________________________________________________

Total students   |    110        |      60       |        170 total students

Students who like BOTH are 70 + 40 = 110   percentage = part/whole = 110/170

Students who ONLY like television = 20

Students who ONLY like reading = 40
