The rate(speed) is 1 3/5

We can use the distance formula to solve:
d= rt
D= 4/5
T=1/2 hr

Substitute

4/5= 1/2t

Multiply 2 on both sides
2* (4/5)=(1/2)t * 2

8/5=t

We can simplify this to 1 3/5

tangare [24]

Answer:

-Convenience Sampling

Step-by-step explanation:

Convenience Sampling is a sampling method that is employed simply because the samples are easy to reach or access. It is a non-probability system of sampling and not a very strong method of sampling. For a serious research such as the one being conducted by the Superintendent, who has ample time to perform the research, this is not a very good sampling method. A Convenience style of research would mean that he can just walk into a cafeteria with students and administer the test to them.

Since he has detailed information of the students, he should choose any of the other mentioned sampling techniques in the options provided to randomly select the subjects. This would help to prevent bias, and enable him to make generalizations with the result of the research.

(−6)^2
Need halp please
ziro4ka [17]
This is an EXPONENT.

To do this all we need to do is multiply the base by itself how many times the power says.

(-6)² = (-6) × (-6) = 36

Recall that any negative number times another negative number is positive so that is why this would be positive.

So, (-6)² = 36

Hope I helped ya!!

What is the x-value in the solution to this system of linear equations?
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

 4

Step-by-step explanation:

The y-variable can be eliminated by adding 3 times the first equation to the second:

 3(2x -y) +(x +3y) = 3(11) +(-5)

 7x = 28 . . . . simplify

 x = 4 . . . . . . . divide by 7

_____

Using Cramer's Rule, you can also find the x-value. The math is not so different.

 x = ((-1)(-5) -(3)(11))/(-1(1) -3(2)) = -28/-7 = 4
