P(B/A) is \frac{5}{9} in the simplest form

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us explain how to solve the problem

  • P(B|A) is called the "Conditional Probability" of B given A
  • Conditional probability is the probability of one event occurring with some relationship to one or more other events that means event A has already happened, now what is the chance of event B
  • The formula for conditional probability is P(B|A) = P(A and B)/P(A), where P(A and B) is P(A) . P(B given A occurred)

∵ There are 3 red marbles, 5 green marbles, and 2 blue

   marbles in the jar

∴ The total number of the marbles in the jar = 3 + 5 + 2 = 10

∵ Two marbles are drawn from the bag, one after the other without

   replacement

- That means red is already occurred when green is happened,

  so it is a "Conditional Probability" of green given red

  P(B/A) = P(A and B)/P(A)

∵ Event A is defined as drawing a red marble from the jar on

   the first draw

∴ P(A) = P(red)

∵ P(red) = \frac{3}{10}

∴ P(A) = \frac{3}{10}

∵ Event B is defined as drawing a green marble on the second draw

∴ P(B) = P(green)

- The number of marbles after the red is chosen is 9

∵ P(green) = \frac{5}{9}

∴ P(B) = \frac{5}{9}

- Find P( A and B)

∴ P(A and B) = ( \frac{3}{10} ) . ( \frac{5}{9} )

∴ P(A and B) = \frac{15}{90}

- Simplify the fraction by divide up and down by 15

∴ P(A and B) = \frac{1}{6}

∵ P(B|A) = P(A and B)/P(A)

- Substitute the values of P(A and B) and P(A) in the rule above

∴ P(B/A) = \frac{\frac{1}{6}}{\frac{3}{10}}

- Simplify the fraction

∵ \frac{1}{6} ÷ \frac{3}{10} = \frac{1}{6} × \frac{10}{3} = \frac{10}{18}

- Divide up and down by 2

∴ P(B/A) = \frac{5}{9}

P(B/A) is \frac{5}{9} in the simplest form

For triangle ABC, angle A=110, angle B=43, and side b=15. Find side c.
vredina [299]

Answer: 10

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

First, find m∠C by using the Triangle Sum Theorem:

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

110 + 43 + ∠C = 180°

     153   + ∠C = 180°

                ∠C = 27°

Next, Use the Law of Sines to solve for c:

\dfrac{b}{sin\ B}= \dfrac{c}{sin\ C}

\dfrac{15}{sin\ 43}= \dfrac{c}{sin\ 27}

\dfrac{15\ sin\ 27}{sin\ 43}= c

10 = c

What is the answer meyn?
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

the best value is two 50 ml bottles

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay focus with me , if you buy a bottle of 50 ml you will get a second for half price so we can say that --> 2 bottles of 50 ml =

45 +  \frac{45}{2}  = 67.5

We get 100 ml with £67.5 just , but when you buy 80ml you must pay £55 Hum !

then you can dived the volume of bottle with price ...

  • the price of one ml is 0.675 in first State

\frac{67.5}{100 } = 0.675

  • in the second state the price of one ml is

\frac{55}{80}  = 0.6875

then :

0.675 < 0.6875

so the best value is two 50 ml bottles

(10v^4 + 30v^3 + 2v^2) / 10v
Zina [86]

Given expression is

\frac{10v^4+30v^3+2v^2}{10v}

Now we need to simplify this expression. We can begin by factoring numerator and denominator if possible.

= \frac{2v^2(5v^2+15v+1)}{10v}

divide numerator and denominator both by 2v

= \frac{v(5v^2+15v+1)}{5}

= \frac{5v^3+15v^2+1v}{5}

Hence final answer is \frac{5v^3+15v^2+1v}{5}

Or you can also keep factored form

\frac{v(5v^2+15v+1)}{5}
