lets see well I came out as Bi when I was 12 so for me before I came out I asked questions kinda like hints like for example
Hey mom um did you have any friends that were Bi or that were gay? they said no so of course I asked more and more to everyone it may be hard but you got this! if you want me to explain more I can I you would like!
I came out to my mom in September of 2020.. I’m pretty sure she already knew beforehand because I was never really secretive of it. it’s just who I am
Anyways, we went on vacation and in one of the lazy river pools she asked me “So, are you into boys, girls.. both?” my stomach dropped. I wasn’t afraid of admitting of saying I was bisexual it was that now she would have an answer.. so i said both and we went on with our day
This was just my coming out.
Advice i could give is just make sure YOU want to come out, make sure you surround yourself with friends that are supportive, and when you’re ready come out to your parents. If you get the vibe that your parents aren’t supportive of the LGBTQ+ then maybe wait? I’m not sure..
anyways I just wanted to share my story since i’ve never really told it :)
