What is the value of x? I don’t understand this please help
Monica [59]

Answer:

54

Step-by-step explanation:

A tangent line makes a right angle with the radius to the point of tangency. Hence this triangle is a right triangle, and x° is the complement of 36°:

x° = 90° -36° = 54°

The value of x is 54.

Lin ran 2 3/4 miles in 2/5 of an hour. Noah ran 8 2/3 miles in 4/3 of an hour.
sveticcg [70]
(The second one)
Noah ran 8.67 miles in 1 hour and 20 minutes
If we convert the fraction to a decimal (for the miles part) we get 8.67 or 8 2/3 miles.

If 1/3 of an hour is 20 minutes, and an hour is 60 minutes, we add 20 4 times, which gets us to 80, which is 20 past an hour.

How can using equivalent ratios help you operate a business?
never [62]
Hi there

Using equivalent ratios to help operate a business is useful for financial ratios.
There are common size ratios, liquidity ratios, efficiency ratios, and solvency ratios.

Ratios are used to let us compare one item to another. (For example, comparing 1 teacher to 25 students, or 1:25)

Did you have any answers to chose from? I just figured I'd provide you with what I knew about this subject to help in case there were no options to chose from.
