A pair of numbers has a GCF of 6 and a LCM of 60. What could the numbers be? Explain.
vivado [14]

Answer:

(2*3)=6; 60= (2*3)*2*5 (prime factorization)

The numbers in the parenthesis can't be taken out because they are the HCF

So just move the 2 and the 5 on both sides and you'll get two pairs that are (6,30) and (12,30)

How to find the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle using trigonometry?
Ghella [55]
It depends on whether you have "Perpendicular" or "base"
If you have perpendicular then, you can use the formula:
sin Ф = P / H

If you have base then, you can use the formula:
cos Ф = B/ H

Hope this helps!

Alenkinab [10]
Slope of a line passing through two given points
= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

For m=3, and substituting coordinates,
3=(1-y)/(4-1)
solve for  y
1-y=3*3=9
y=1-9=-8
