Why did Friedrich Hayek call expansionary spending dangerous?
Natalija [7]

Friedrich Hayek was an Austrian Economist known for his work on the <em>Theory of Money</em>, which earned him a Nobel Memorial Prize in 1974. He openly supported classic liberalism, which emphasized the economic freedom of all individuals who formed part of society.

Hayek opposed expansionary spending (or expansionary monetary policy) because he considered, following principles of liberalism, that government intervention in the economy should be kept at its minimum expression. It is up to individuals and the economic relations they form as to whether an economy grows or not. The increase of money supply in a country could bring negative effects such as <em>inflation, </em>which is the sustained increase in the prices of goods and services.

Which other "righteous cause" would participants in the Seneca Falls Convention have been most likely to support? Expansionism A
Degger [83]

The other "righteous cause" that participants in the Seneca Falls Convention would have most likely supported is <em>C. Abolitionism.</em>

According to history, the five women who championed the Convention in July 1848 at <em>Seneca Falls in New York</em> were authoritative supporters of Abolition.

<em>Elizabeth Stanton's </em><em>Seneca Falls Convention</em><em> </em>sought to establish the unalienable rights of women in line with the <em>"Declaration of Independence." </em> The Convention, with its own <em>"Declaration of Sentiments," </em>marked the first women's rights convention in the US.

Thus, the Seneca Falls Convention established the women's suffrage movement, laying the foundation for the 19th Amendment, and righteously sought to end slavery.

What was Martin Luther’s response to the church selling indulgences to build a cathedral?
pashok25 [27]

Answer:

Martin Luther thought that this was horrible. He did not believe that you can buy your way to Heaven, or buy your way out of hell to heaven. He wrote 95 reasons (Ninety Five-Theses) on why buying indulgences is wrong. Basically, an indulgence is like a note that shows however many sins you done, you can buy your way out of going to hell and go to Heaven. The reasons tried to prove why they were wrong. He also posted on a church door in Wittenberg, Germany.
