You've been hired to help a car company with analyzing sale trends to help them with figuring out what direction development of

new products should go. Due to rising fuel costs the industry is seeing a rise in people purchasing compact cars, but the kind of features and thus price people are targeting is less clear. Based on your initial analysis the average cost of a compact car over the last 10 years has ranged from $12,000 to $27,000. Your job is to assist your team with plotting this data on a graph to help your team with visualizing potential trends in the data. The years will be on the x-axis and the cost will be on the y- axis. (a) What is a good maximum and minimum value along the y-axis that would be a good fit for your data on this graph? Explain your reasoning. (b) What is a good distance between the marks along the y-axis on the graph to ensure that you have appropriate resolution for your data set? Explain your reasoning. Too few means you can't reasonably read the data, too many will make your graph too cluttered. (c) What is a good maximum and minimum value along the x-axis which would be a good fit for your data on this graph? Explain your reasoning. (d) What is a good distance between the marks along the x-axis on the graph to ensure that you have appropriate resolution for your data set? Explain your reasoning. Too few means you can't reasonably read the data, too many will make your graph too cluttered.

Answer:

A. the minimum value for the y axis needs to be 12,000 or under and the maximum should be 27,000 or over in order to get the correct data you need to be able to see the numbers you need.

B. I would say a good distance between the numbers on the y axis would be 3,000 because it goes into both numbers evenly and isn't too big or too small.

C. a good minimum value for the x axis would be 0 because that's when the time starts. A good maximum value for the x axis would be 10 or over because you need to have 10 on for the amount of years.

D. I think a good distance would be 2 because it wouldn't be too many but you will still be able to read the data correctly.

if this doesnt help im sorry!!

which pair of numbers have a greatest common factor of 3? select each correct answer. 3 and 9 3 and 9 18 and 15 18 and 15 15 and
Vlada [557]

The pair of numbers that have the greatest common factor of 3 are:

6 and 9

18 and 15

3 and 9

What is greatest common factor?

The biggest number, which is the variable of at least two number is known as the Best Normal Element (GCF). It is the biggest number (factor) that partition them bringing about a Characteristic number. When every one of the elements of the number are found, there are not many variables which are normal in both.

The factors of 6 and 9 are:

6 ⇒ 1, 2, 3 and 6

9 ⇒ 1, 3, 9

The greatest common factor here is therefore 3.

The factors of 18 and 15 are:

18 ⇒ 1, 2, 3, 6, 9 and 18

15 ⇒ 1, 3, 5, and 15

Greatest common factor is also 3

The factors of 3 and 9 are:

3 ⇒ 1 and 3

9 ⇒ 1, 3, 9

Greatest common factor here is also 3.

ss7ja [257]

Answer:5

Step-by-step explanation:

If you look at the question in reverse you can backtrack your way through. Take 10 and instead of dividing, multiply it by 10, which is 60, add 6 instead of subtracting, which is 66, divide by 6 instead of multiplying, which is 11 and finally subtract 6 instead of adding, which is 5. Use five and try the question over to make sure you calculated correct.
