The 2 possible ways to fence in the patio are having 8x9, with the nine being the length of the wall. Because 8+8+9=26. The second way is 18x4 and the 18 being the length of the wall. Because 18+4+4=26.

Sydney has a rectangular pool as shown in the figure. The pool is 6 feet deep throughout. mc017-1.jpg How much water is needed t
densk [106]
The amount of water that is needed to fill the pool is equal to the volume of the pool.

The pool is rectangular, with uniform depth so the volume of pool will be the product of its length , width and depth.

Thus,

Volume = 25 x 18 x 6 = 2700 ft³

This means, 2700 ft³ water is needed to fill the pool.

An advertisement for a circular rug says that the rug has a diameter of 6 feet. Find the relative error of this measurement
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

1. 8.3%

Step-by-step explanation:

Relative error = absolute error/expected measurement

The expected measurement is given as 6 ft.

Now, the absolute error is usually equal to half of a unit of the measure.

This means the absolute error in this case is ½ × 1 = 0.5 ft

Thus, the exact measurement will be;

6 ± 0.5

Thus;

Relative error = 0.5/6

Relative error = 0.083

Expressing it in percentage gives 8.3%

Write the formula for the following sequence.
5.8, 3.6, 1.4,...
PLEASE SHOW YOUR WORK.
sladkih [1.3K]

tn = t(n - 1)- 2.2

common difference is

3.6 - 5.8 = -2.2

let T1 = 5.8

T2 = 3.6

assuming we are to find T2

T2 = T(2-1) -2.2

= T1 -22

= 5.8 -2.2

= 3.6
