Answer:

Bleaching occurs when the colorful algae that live inside the corals are expelled. That can happen for a lot of reasons — because the water is too warm or too cold, or because of extreme low tides. But bleaching is really bad for coral reefs, because the algae are essentially its farms, providing about 90 percent of the coral’s energy. Without it, the coral goes white as it starves. Since the 1980s, the world’s coral reefs have experienced three significant mass bleachings.

Why is it true to say that exhaled air is acidic?
Reil [10]

Answer:

Because it contains carbonic acid

Explanation:

Carbonic acid is made from dissolving carbon dioxide in water. Since carbon dioxide is exhaled in the lungs, and the exhaled air is moist due to the presence of water molecules from the alveoli, then the carbon dioxide gas will be dissolved in the exhaled air’s moisture rendering it  slightly acidic.

in an experiment to determine the effect of exercise on pulse rate student checks his pulse rate and after exercising for severa
Sladkaya [172]
The purpose of this is to indicate the changes or effects in pulse rate bought by exercise.

We can also call this the control set up, it is where all the setting is same except without the variable that is going to be tested. So in this case, that variable is exercise.

So it is supposed that both set up has same settings such as the amount of time measuring the pulse, or the position of arm or neck etc.
