In this question, you can get 3 formula which was
1. Paul = Patricia - 2
2. Daniel = Patricia * 1.25
3. Daniel - 10 = (Patricia-10) * 1.5
    Daniel - 10 = 1.5 Patricia - 15
    Daniel= 1.5 Patricia -5

If you insert the 2nd equation into the 3rd, then you will get
1.25 Patricia = 1.5 Patricia -5
0.25 Patricia = 5
Patricia = 20

Then insert the result into 1st equation
Paul = Patricia - 2= 20-2= 18 years

1. Find the common difference and find the 75th term of the arithmetic sequence: 3, 6, 9, 12, ....
Ymorist [56]

Answer:

\boxed{225}

.

Step-by-step explanation:

Arithmetic sequence

Un = a + (n - 1)b

.

First step, find its difference

b = U_2 - U_1

b = 6 - 3

b = 3

.

So, we get

a = 3

b = 3

.

Finally, Let's find the 75th term

U_{75} = 3 + (75 - 1)3

U_{75} = 3 + (74)3

U_{75} = 3 + 222

U_{75} = 225

You and a friend want to know how much rope you need to climb a large rock. Your friend is 5.5 feet tall and casts a shadow that
diamong [38]
The concept that is useful in order to answer this item is the concept of ratio and proportion. Let x be the height of the rock from the ground. We use the equation below to answer.
                                    5.5 ft / 18 ft = x ft / 209.5 ft
The value of x from the equation is 64 ft. Thus, they will be needing approximately 64 ft of rope.
