To solve this, we will use the Exterior Angle of a Triangle Theorem, which states that the exterior angles in a triangle are congruent to the 2 interior remote angles.

Therefore:

17x-1 = 84 + 7x+5.

• The exterior angle = the 2 remote interior angles.

17x-1+1=84+7x+5+1

17x = 84+7x+6

17x-7x = 84+7x-7x+6

10x = 84+6

10x = 90

10x/10 = 90/10

x = 9

for these scenarios, write equations or inequalities that reflect the relationship. The minimum number of hours required to rent
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

100 + 35x \geq 280 is the inequality that reflect the relationship.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Charge for rental =   $100

Additional charge =  $ 35

Minimum amount that can be spent =  $280

To Find:

equations or inequalities that reflect the relationship = ?

Solution:

Let x be the minimum number of hours

then the charge will  be

100  + (number of hours)(additional cost per hour)

That is

100 + 35x

Now the minimum charge amount is $280 So, The charge can be 280 or more than 280

100 + 35x \geq 280

What is the equation of the line? <br><br> Use y = mx+b
Olegator [25]

Answer:

y = - \frac{1}{2} x + 4

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + b ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Calculate m using the slope formula

m = (y₂ - y₁ ) / (x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (2, 3) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (4, 2) ← 2 points on the line

m = \frac{2-3}{4-2} = - \frac{1}{2}

Note the line crosses the y- axis at (0, 4) ⇒ c = 4

y = - \frac{1}{2} x + 4 ← equation of line

timurjin [86]

Answer by JKismyhusbandbae: add 5 to 23

Explanation: The numbers are increasing by 5 each term. To double check 13 - 8 equals 5. To make sure it's right add 13 + 5 equals 18 and so you can add 23 plus 5 equals 28. Which means that five is our pattern.
