Used the C1V1 = C2V2 method for calculations

Explanation:

Component      Calculation       Volume of Stock to be added

FBS:             100*V1 = 10*25                  2.5 mL

Glutamine:     200*V1 = 2*25                  0.25 mL

Penicillin:      10000V1 = 100*25          0.25 mL

Streptomycin:     10000V1 = 100*25            0.25 mL

NB: C1 = Stock Concentration; V1 = Volume of stock required; C2 = Final concentration required; V2 = Final volume required

Where sugar concentration is high, what is the source of water taken in by phloem
Amanda [17]
Let's start with the fact the the phloem of a plant is a special tissue that mainly transports food sources for the plant. one of the products it transports is various sugars - more commonly known as sap. the higher the concentration of sugars, the lower the concentration of water. in that case, the plant slows down on sugar making as it has a surplus, and once the sugars dilute within the sap and water's been taken in, the plant goes back to sugar making.

How to use and interpret punnett squars
yan [13]
Punnet squares are used to predict the genotypes of the parents' children. on the top of the punnet square is the female's genotype. The side of the punnet square is the male's genotype. match up the letters based on the box (i don't know how to explain the inside well). Pretty much, the inside is the predictions of the children's genotype. The capitol letters are the dominant traits and the lowercase letters are the recessive traits.
