Answer:

Hydrogen Chloride is 74.64 grams.

Explanation:

Using the given information, we can find the amount of grams of hydrogen chloride that take place in the reaction.

  • 24.30 grams of Magnesium
  • "x" grams of Hydrogen chloride
  • 2.04 grams hydrogen gas
  • 96.90 grams of magnesium chloride.

Due to the Law of Conservation of Mass, the mass of the system must remain constant. To find the value of x, make the equation below.

24.30 + x=2.04 + 96.90

The left side represent the reactant side of the chemical reaction and the right side represents the product side.

2.04 + 96.90= 98.94

24.30+x=98.94

24.30 - 24.30 + x= 98.94 - 24.30

x=74.64

Molodets [167]

Answer:

C) 11 g

Explanation:

first look to graph , you have x and y

x is mass of Fe

and y is mass of product

if the reaction consumes 2 g of Fe , ( look to x axis , look to 2 )

and go up until the black line touch the line of number 2

and go left and you will see the point become in the middle between 10 and 12

An _______ bond forms when a cation transfers its extra electron to an anion who needs it.
Nitella [24]
An c.ionic  bond forms when a cation transfers its extra electron to an anion who needs it.
For example compound magnesium chloride (MgCl₂) has ionic bond (<span>the </span>electrostatic attraction<span> between oppositely charged </span><span>ions)</span>. Magnesium transfers two electrons (became positive cation) to chlorine (became negative anion).
