शिक्षा मानिसलाई बाटो देखाउने एउटा मार्ग हो । कुनै विषयमा ज्ञान लिनु वा दिनुलाई पनि शिक्षा भनिन्छ ।

हाम्रो देश नेपालको शिक्षा प्रणाली हेर्ने हो भने धेरै खालका भिन्नता देखिन्छ । कतिपय क्षेत्रहरुमा अहिलेसम्म पनि प्राथमिक बिधालयसमेत उपलब्ध छैन । त्यही अन्धकार समाजमा गुन्जिएर शिक्षावाट बन्जित भैरहेका छन् । त्यसैले गर्दा एउटा असल व्यक्ति बनाउनको लागि पनि शिक्षाले महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेलेको हुन्छ । एउटा व्यक्तिदेखि लिएर समाज, समुदाय, राष्ट्रलाई पनि सुधार्नलाई शिक्षा आबश्यक छ । एउटा असल व्यक्ति, असल परिवार, असल समाज, असल समुदाय र असल राष्ट्र बनाउनलाई शिक्षा आबश्यक हुन्छ ।एउटा राम्रो स्वस्थकर जीवनयापन गर्नको लागि पनि शिक्षाको महत्व हुन्छ । एउटा समाजमा सम्मानित व्यक्ति भएर जिउनको लागि शिक्षाको महत्व छ । नेपालमै राम्रो रोजगार गर्नकोलागि पनि शिक्षाको महत्व हुन्छ ।
