Answer:

the number is -12

Step-by-step explanation:

Write this word expression in symbolic expression:

Let the number be n.  Then the quotient of n and 12, less 3, is -4, or

  n

------- -3 = -4

 12

                                                                             n

Combining the negative integers, we get:    -------- = -1

                                                                             12

and so n = -1(12) = -12

the number is -12

To the nearest degree, what is the measure of each exterior angle of a regular octagon? O A. 45° O B. 30° O C. 51o O D. 60°
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Because an octagon consists of eigth sides/edges, and 360 degrees is the total sum of the angles, we simply divide 360 by 8:

360/8 = 45.

Option A, 45 degrees

Help or don’t eiether way you’re amazing
Ugo [173]

Answer:

267 (please double check this!!!)

Step-by-step explanation:

Separate the block into sections that you can find the volume for easily and figure out the measurements for each

the two smaller blocks on top will be symmetrical

the bottom area is 5 high and 3 deep and you get the length by adding 4+5+4 because that's the length of the whole thing

so 13*3*5 = 195

The two smaller blocks is just adding a *2 once you figure out the one

it's 3 deep still and 4 wide, if you subtract the total height from the height given of the bottom part you get 3

3*4*3 = 36

you have another one of those blocks so it'd be 36*2

then you add them both 72+195 = 267

musickatia [10]

Answer:

I am not entirely sure, but I am pretty sure this is the transitive property of equality (that says if a = b, and b = c, then a = c).
