The dimensions would be 12 cm lenght , 5 cm width and 15 cm height.

You divide each dimensions by 2 because we need to find half.

Tanya is training a turtle for a race. For every 1/2 of an hour that the turtle is crawling, he can travel 3/20 of a mile. At wh
vazorg [7]

Answer:

\frac{6}{20} \ mile\ per\ hour

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

For every 1/2 of an hour that the turtle is crawling, he can travel 3/20 of a mile

Question asked:

At what unit rate is the turtle crawling?

Solution:

As here<u> time taken is given</u> and the <u>distance traveled is also given </u>and hence we will apply speed and distance formula to find rate of crawling of turtle.

Time taken by turtle = \frac{1}{2} \ hour

Distance which can be traveled by turtle = \frac{3}{20} \ miles

Speed =\frac{Distance}{Time}

         =\frac{3}{20} \div\frac{1}{2} \\\\ =\frac{3}{20} \times\frac{2}{1} \\ \\ =\frac{6}{20}

Therefore, the rate at which the turtle is crawling is \frac{6}{20} \ mile\ per\ hour

a ladder is leaning against a wall. The ladder reaches 6 ft high on the wall and the base from the ladder is 2 ft from the wall
Katyanochek1 [597]
Ok the ladder and the ground will make a right triangle/right angle. This is because the ground is flat, the wall is straight and only the ladder is leaning/slanted. I hope this helps.

Find the value of x.<br> Right triangle: Hypotenuse is 11, base is x, angle is 22 degrees.
kirill [66]
We know that the trigonometric identity that uses the adjacent side and the hypotenuse is cosine. We can set this up as:
cos(22) =  \frac{x}{11}

We need to solve for x, so let's isolate it:
x = 11cos(22) = 10.2

So, x = 10.2 units
