Determine the values of the letters to complete the conditional relative frequency table by column. A = b =.
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Conditional relative frequency is the ratio of the the value of somthing with the total value for a set in data table. The value of the letter <em>a</em> is 0.1 and the value of the letter <em>b</em> is 0.85.

Given information

In the given table,

For the 16 year old weekend curfew is 0.9 before 10 pm and <em>a </em>after 10 pm in total 1.

For the 17 year old weekend curfew is <em>b</em> before 10 pm and 0.15<em> </em>after 10 pm in total 1.

There is total are with 0.88 before 10 pm and 0.12 after 10 pm in total of 1.

<h3>Conditional relative frequency-</h3>

Conditional relative frequency is the ratio of the the value of somthing with the total value for a set in data table.

As for the relative conditional frequency the sum of the frequencies of each column should be equal to the one.

Hence for column two given in the table,

0.9+a=1

Solve for<em> a</em>,

a=1-0.9\\a=0.1

Thus the value of the letter <em>a</em> is 0.1.

Hence for column three given in the table,

b+0.15=1

Solve for<em> a</em>,

b=1-0.15\\b=0.85

Thus the value of the letter <em>b</em> is 0.85.

<h2>Answer:</h2>

A one solution because it's x=1

<h3>Step By Step explanation:</h3>

this is the original problem

8x-3=3x+2

we want to have x by itself so. . .

we add three on both sides. it cancels -3. And 2+3=5

8x=3x+5

we subtract 3x on both sides so 8x-3x=5x and 3x cancels on the other side

5x=5

we divide by 5 on both sides to get x by itself

x=1

if it was 1=1 or x=x (the same on both side) it would've been infinite solutions. if the numbers didn't match like 4=6 it would've been no solution

If a basket of goods and services used to calculate CPI contains 2 pairs of socks at $2 each and 1 pair of shoes at $50, what wi
Svetach [21]

Answer:

B. 55.10

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

1 pair of Shoes for 1st year = $50

2 pair of Sock for 1st year = $2 each = 2\times2= $4

\therefore CPI for year 1 = Price of shoes for 1st year + Price of Sock for 1st year= $50 + $4 = $54

Now

1 pair of Shoes for 2nd year = $51

2 pair of Sock for 2nd year = $2.05 each = 2 \times2.05 =$4.10

\therefore CPI for Year 2 = Price of shoes for 2nd year + Price of Sock for 2nd year= $51 + $4.1 = $55.10

Hence CPI for Year 2 is $55.10

PLEASE HELP!
den301095 [7]

Answer:

7 percent

Step-by-step explanation:

We have the following information from the question:

The probability that a student chooses art as an elective is 15 percent: P(A)=15\%

The probability that a student chooses art or drama is 20 percent: P(A\cup D)=20\%

The probability that a student chooses both art and drama is 2 percent:

P(A\cap D)=2\%

Recall that:

P(A\cup D)=P(A)+P(D)-P(A\cap D)

We plug in the various probabilities to get:

20\%=15\%+P(D)-2\%

20\%-15\%+2\%=P(D)

7\%=P(D)

\therefore P(D)=7\%

Hence the probability that a student chooses drama as an elective is 7 percent
