32 empty square pieces are empty because the total number of squares in the board is 8X8 which is 64 and for the spaces filled theres 16 for each player and there are two players so its 16x2 which us 32. The total number of soaces minus the filled spaces will give you the number of empty spaces. So 64-32=32

People with kids or babies always want them to eat natural foods with no preservation, even if are a bit more expensive than the other available options. What they care about is the quality and health of the kids. So keeping this point in head, most of the brands uses the technique to compete with the other in-market brands. And that's what the shopkeeper did in this case.<span>

Luisa and Connor had $360 altogether . After Connor gave Luisa 2/5 of his money, she had the same amount of money has he did. Ho
Liula [17]

Answer:

$300

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's say that L is the amount of money Luisa had in the beginning, and C is the amount of money Connor had in the beginning.

C + L = 360

C - 2/5 C = L + 2/5 C

Simplifying the second equation:

3/5 C = L + 2/5 C

1/5 C = L

Substituting into the first equation:

C + 1/5 C = 360

6/5 C = 360

C = 300

Connor originally had $300, and Luisa $60.  Connor gave Luisa $120, and they both had $180.

Are 2(6.1x+25.3y+2.1x-3.9y) and 4(4.1x+ 10.7) equivalent
Vlada [557]

Answer:

Multiply the number outside the parentheses by each term inside the parentheses

=2(6.1x+25.3y+2.1x-3.9y)

=(2*6.1x)+(2*25.3y)+(2*2.1x)+(2*-3.9y)

=12.2x + 50.6y + 4.2x - 7.8y

combine like terms

= 16.4x + 42.8y

=4(4.1x+ 10.7)

=(4*4.1x) + (4*10.7y)

=16.4x + 42.8y

Yes, the two expressions are equivalent.
