Answer:

Percentage of observed passengers with a frequent flyer account = 33% approximately.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that 1/3 of the next 3000 passengers have a frequent flyer account.

So, \frac{1}{3} (3000) = 1000 passengers have a frequent flyer account.

It is also given that we already have 110 passengers with frequent flyer accounts from the last question.

So, total number of passengers who have flyer account = 1000 + 110 = 1110

It is given that the total number of passengers = 3339

Hence, the percentage of passengers with a flyer account = \frac{1110}{3339} (100)

= 33% approximately

Use integer rules to evaluate: 85 + (-96) *
grin007 [14]

Answer:

\boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \boxed{ \sf{ - 11}}}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\sf{85 + ( - 96)}

Multiplying positive integer and negative integer gives a negative integer i.e ( + ) × ( - ) = ( - )

\longrightarrow{ \sf{85 - 96}}

The negative and positive integers are always subtracted but posses the sign of the bigger integer

\longrightarrow{ \sf{ - 11}}

Hope I helped!

Bonnie is adding a ribbon border to the edge of her kite. Two sides of the kite measure 13.2 inches, while the other two sides m
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

Bonnie needs 67.8\ in of ribbon

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

A Kite is a quadrilateral that has two pairs of equal sides

so

To find out how much ribbon Bonnie needs calculate the perimeter of the kite

P=2(L1+L2)

where

L1 is the length of one side

L2 is the length of the other side

P=2(13.2+20.7)=67.8\ in

It would be nice if I get some help with these 2 things
Stella [2.4K]
Thing 1
A. You can set up a proportion by dividing how much of something there is by the original. (This probably doesn't make much sense but I hope you can understand it from the answer to the problem below!)
B.First, do 168/21 to see how many more times he put flour in.
168/21= 8
Then to find out the milk in the same proportion do the number (in this case 8) times the original of the thing you wan to find out.
8x9=72
72 tablespoons of milk are needed for 168 cups of flour in this adapted recipe.

Thing 2
24/36=8y
To solve any equation, you want to have letters on one side and numbers on the other, so...
-8 from both sides...
(24/36)-8=y
24/36=0.6
y=(0.6-8)
y=-7.4

Hope this helps :)
