Your body will turn into a sinking ship. Not literally but its a word describing your body. You will notice some weight increasing. You won't have enough nutrients. Your body will not grow properly lacking the nutrition's. You'll basically be a roasted potato.

It cause weight loss because the diets make you avoid certain food that have higher amount of some thing’s such as carbs or fat in them. If you avoid less of something then you will overall be getting less it therefore you will lose weight
