  • Physiology is the study of normal function within living creatures.
  • Biology is the study of living things.
  • Chemistry is the study of the properties, composition and uses of matter.
  • Homeostasis is the maintenance of a fairly constant internal environment in an organism.

In studying biology, the characteristics, behaviour, and  normal function of the structures and parts in living organisms are studied as well as the abnormal conditions that result in disease states.

The chemistry of living things involve the metabolic reactions occurring in living things such as oxidation and reduction reactions that occur in digestion and respiration as well as phenomena like diffusion and osmosis.

Homeostasis refers to various physiological mechanisms employed by living organisms to maintain a fairly constant environment such osmoregulation, pH and and acid-base balance etc.

Therefore, the physiological concepts associated with biology, chemistry, and homeostasis in living things involves the processes which helps the body to function properly.
