We can take an average mass, m =130 g

The work done in lifting any object is given by:

W = m g h

It is given that, h = 1 m

g = 9.8 m/s²

m = 130 g = 0.13 kg

⇒W =0.13 kg×9.8 m/s²×1 m = 1.3 J ≈ 1 J
