If there nine marbles total and only two red and three yellow marbles, then for the chance of red marbles would be 2/9 and the chance for yellow marbles would be 3/9. so if you add that up you should get 5/9 so your chance of picking a red and than a yellow marble would 5/9, hope this helps, plz mark brainliest nobody ever has before

Can I have some help with these? Thanks.
9966 [12]
The x^2 over the x is like subtracting x from x^2, so the new equation would be 9-x/-3. You divide 9 by -3 to get the final answer of -3-x, or -x-3, which is E.

How do you factor: x^2-4x+2xy-8y?
hoa [83]

Factor out the greatest common factor from each group.

Group the first two terms and the last two terms.

(x^{2}−4x)+2xy−8y

Factor out the greatest common factor (GCF) from each group.

x(x−4)+2y(x−4)

Factor the polynomial by factoring out the greatest common factor,  x−4.

(x−4)(x+2y)

I believe this is correct. Good luck.
