Answer:

It is readily digested by phagocytes.

Explanation:

Virulence factors are protein and sugar molecules found on bacterial and viral surface that help them to gain entry and spread in host's body. They help to evade the immune reaction by the host and help in colonization in host's body.

One such virulence factor is M protein which is found on the surface of many species of Streptococcus, notably Streptococcus pyogenes. It is strongly anti-phagocytic i.e. phagocytes are not able to digest it. It evades phagocytosis by binding to fibrinogen found in host's serum. A structure is formed which inhibits the host's complement system to bind to the peptidoglycan cell wall of bacteria ultimately avoiding phagocytosis. Hence, M protein is readily digested by phagocytes is a false statement.

Sweat is the result of which life function?
telo118 [61]
Human sweat is a result of our body getting over heated. We sweat through our pores so our temperatures don't go up and as a result we stay at a normal temperature. We may feel hot but that's because we are hot from the heat of something. If we didn't sweat then our temperature would become very high and we would die.

What effect do you expect the structural differences between prokaryotes and eukaryotes to have on their functions?
Shtirlitz [24]
The main difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes is the presence of nucleus in eukaryotes and its absence in prokaryotes. Also, prokaryotes are unicellular, so one cell is a whole organism. On the other hand, eukaryotes are mainly multicellular, and thus more complex. More complex DNA is inside the nucleus in the eukaryotes which enables them to conduct a wider range of functions. Prokaryotes, as a single cell, have simple functions present.
