D. No an acid of some sort would accept OH ions.

D is concentrated and it is also a weak base. Good cleaning fluid. Smells awful but it works.

Oxidation is when a substance gains oxygen molecules. For example when hydrogen reacts with oxygen it forms H₂O. The H₂ has been oxidised.
