luda_lava [24]

Answer:

The correct phrase is:  The recorded boiling point will be higher than actual because hotter vapors travel higher up the condenser

Explanation:

When we have a system that is going from the liquid phase to the vapor phase, there is an energy that is spent for this change of state. Therefore the temperature of the liquid remains constant until it has changed state, but the steam that comes out can continue to heat up, so it has a temperature more wing than the liquid.

If the thermometer is very high it will measure the temperature of the vapors, as the temperature is a form of energy these hotter vapors will rise more in the condenser tube.

The correct phrase is:  The recorded boiling point will be higher than actual because hotter vapors travel higher up the condenser

Do you guys know how to find out the Wave Speed using frequency and wavelength?
Eduardwww [97]
Given the relationship: v = wavelength times frequency

this should be as simple as multiplying it out :)

for any other variable just rearrange

velocity = lambda x frequency

where lambda is the wavelength

units:

m/s = m x Hz (1/s)

Use F = 1/T as your basis:
DaniilM [7]
  • Frequency=60Hz

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail \nu=\dfrac{1}{T}

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail T=\dfrac{1}{\nu}

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail T=\dfrac{1}{60}

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail T=1.67\times 10^{-4}s

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail T=16.7\times 10^{-3}s

\\ \rm\rightarrowtail T=16.7ms

A spring is hung from the ceiling. When a block is attached to its end, it stretches 2.5 cm before reaching its new equilibrium
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

0.99Hz

Explanation:

Using F= -mx ( spring force)

At equilibrium the gravitational force will be balanced by the spring force so mg= kx

K= mg/ 0.25 N/m

But

Frequency f= 1/2pi √g/0.25

Frequency is 0.99Hz
