Answer:

801 metres

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the distance we must firstly find the circumference of the wheel;

⇒ C = \pi d = \pi (85) = 85\pi cm

If the wheel made 300 full revolutions, then we multiply the circumference by 300;

⇒ d = 300(85\pi ) = 25500\pi

We can now convert this to decimal to give our distance cm. Therefore we must then divide our answer by 100 to get the distance in metres;

⇒ d = 25500\pi = 80111cm = 801m

Hope this helps! :D

What is the goal of a proof by contradiction?
kifflom [539]

Answer:

B. The contradiction of the statement is proven false, so the original

statement is therefore proven true.

Step-by-step explanation:

We assume the opposite and then get to a point where we get a false statement. That proves that the the opposite of the opposite ( what we originally wanted to prove) is true.

Which of the given values are in the interval (-3,1]?
Vladimir [108]

The values coming in the interval (-3,1] are -2, -1, 0, and 1.

What is defined as the term interval notations?

 • An interval is represented on a number line using interval notation. In all other sayings, it is a method of writing real number line subsets.
 • An interval is made up of numbers that fall between two specific data set.
 • Intervals can be categorized according to the numbers in the set.
 1. Interval Open: The endpoints of a inequality are not included in this type of interval.
 2. Interval Closure; The endpoints of a inequality are included in this type of interval.
 3. Interval with Half-Open Doors: This interval contains only one of inequality's endpoints.

The given interval notation is;

(-3,1], it is the case of half open half close.

-3 comes with the open interval, it means its value will not be included in the interval.

1 is with the closed interval, it means its value will be included in the interval.

Thus, the values lying between the interval (-3, 1] are -2, -1, 0, and 1.

3/4,

12/16,

18/24,

24/32

30/40

...So on, So on...

Step-by-step explanation:

Any fraction that you multiply by the same number on the bottom and on top.

So, multiply by two, what you do to the top do to the bottom. = 12/16

Multiply by three = 18/24

So on, so on.

Or you can reduce, 6/8 divide by 2 = 3/4.

I'm gonna give you 5 equivalent equations. I also taught you how to do it!
