Answer:

n=4

Step-by-step explanation:

5n+34= -2( 1 - 7n)

Distribute -2 to (1-7n)

Which then gives you: 5n+34= -2+12n

Now, subtract -34 from both sides ( 34 and -2)

This then gives you: 5n-14n-36

Next, subtract 14 from both sides ( 5n and 14n)

This then gives you: -9n=-36

Lastly, divide -9 on both sides.

This then gives you, n=4

Math is WACK!

Hope this helped, attachment I added has all of the work on it!

What expression is equivalent to 18c^8 d^9/9c^3 d^6
Annette [7]
First, since all of the terms are multiplied, you can cancel them out to simplify them:

18/9 = 2

When a term has exponents on the top and bottom of a fraction, you subtract the bottom from the top:

c^8/c^3 = c^5

d^9/d^6 = d^3

So now, we can get rid of the fraction bar and put all of these terms into one expression:

2(c^5)(d^3)

Find the diagonal (d) of the base
bazaltina [42]

Answer:

4\sqrt{5}\ un.

Step-by-step explanation:

The picture shows rectangular prism with rectangular base and heigth h. The dimenssions of base rectangle are l and w.

The diagonal of reactangle with known length l and width w can be calculated using the Pythagorean theorem:

d^2=l^2+w^2,\\ \\d^2=8^2+4^2,\\ \\d^2=64+16,\\ \\d^2=80,\\ \\d=4\sqrt{5}\ un.
