M∠JKP=67° m ∠ J K P = 67 ° what is the measure of m < PKL?
Lesechka [4]

The measure of m<PKL is 23 degrees

From the diagram attached, we can see that m∠JKP and m∠PKL are complementary, that is:

  • m∠JKP + m∠PKL = 90

Given the following

m<JKP = 67degrees

Get the measure of m<PKL

m<PKL = 90 - 67

m<PKL = 23 degrees

Hence the measure of m<PKL is 23 degrees

Sarah’s company sells bracelets and rings. Her first customer buys 3 bracelets and 10 rings, spending a total of $48. Her second
timofeeve [1]

Sarah charges $6.00 for one bracelet.

We know that a collection of one or more linear equations containing the same variables is known as a system of linear equations in mathematics.

Let Sarah charges $x and $y for one bracelet and one ring respectively.

Since her first customer spends $48 on 3 bracelets and 10 rings, we can write it as

3x + 10y = 48 ...(1)

Since her second customer spends $54 on 7 bracelets and 4 rings, we can write it as

7x + 4y = 54 ...(2)

Now, we have to solve this system of linear equations.

Multiplying (1) by 2, 6x + 20y = 96 ...(3)

Multiplying (2) by 5, 35x + 20y = 270 ...(4)

Subtracting (3) from (4), 35x + 20y - 6x - 20y = 270 - 96

i.e. 29x = 174

i.e. x = 174/29 = 6

Therefore we can conclude that Sarah charges $6 for one bracelet. Option B is correct.

Who do you do the problem 7/9+1/7+3/5? please explain thoroughly.
Evgen [1.6K]
To add fractions you want to make sure that the bottom numbers are the same so we have to make them the same, but we have to make sure that the fractions are unchanged so we get the correct answer

so if we find out what number that 9,7, and 5 can all multiply into. we find that 9 times 7 times 5 or 315 is the number that will work

so to get them to all be over 315, we must multiply each fraction by a form of 1/1 or x/x or (number)/(same numbe as on top)

so 7/9 times (35/35)=245/315
1/7 times (45/45)=45/315
3/5 times (56/56)=168/315

we add them togther
245/315+45/315+168/315=(245+45+168)/315=458/315
this simplifies to 1 and 143/315

Sneha went to a park 150m long and 80m wide. She took one complete round on its boundary. What is the distance covered by Sneha?
Blababa [14]

Answer:

460 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Boundary = perimeter

Perimeter = 2(length + width)

= 2(150 + 80)

= 2(230)

= 460 m
