A. $25
The explanation would be because 365-105=206 and then double 105 which would be 210 and then subtract that from 206 which would be 50 then divide that by 2 and you would get 25

I think the best figure for a cereal box would be a cylinder. There are no corners on a cylinder where it is hard to fit round pieces of cereal into.  The formula for the surface area of the cylinder is 2*pi*r*h+2*pi*r^2. The formula for the volume of the cylinder is pi*r^2*h. (Then I would add some more info supporting why you think a cylinder would make a good box.)

Write an equation in slope-intercept form of the line that passes through (7, 2) and (2, 12)
Anika [276]

Step-by-step explanation:

the general slope intercept form is

y = ax + b

a is the slope, b is the y-intercept (when x=0).

the slope is the ratio y/x indicating how much y changes, when x changes for a certain amount of units when going from one point to another.

going from (7, 2) to (2, 12) :

x changes by -5 (from 7 to 2), y changes by +10 (from 2 to 12).

so, the slope is 10/-5 = -2

therefore, we have already

y = -2x + b

we get b by using the coordinates of one of the points as x and y. e.g. (7, 2)

2 = -2×7 + b = -14 + b

16 = b

so, the full line equation is

y = -2x + 16

A 2 feet- wide walkway surrounds a rectangular swimming pool. The swimming pool is 12 feet wide and 16 feet long. What is the ar
Andru [333]

Answer:

128 sq. ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

The outer sides of the walkway will have a length of 20 feet and the breadth will be 16 feet

The area of the pool along with the walkway will be 20 × 16 = 320 square feet.

Area of the pool without the walkway will be 16 × 12 = 192 square feet.

Therefore area of the walkway will be

352 - 216 = 128 square feet.
