Answer:

Area of A=120cm²

Area of B=20cm²

Area of C=20cm²

Total area=160cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

For A

Length(l)=15cm\\Breadth(b)=8cm\\Now,\\Area=l*b\\Area=15cm*8cm=120cm^{2}

For B

Length(l)=5cm\\Breadth=12cm -8cm=4cm\\Now,\\Area=l*b\\Area=5cm*4cm\\Area=20cm^{2}

Area of C=20cm²

Total Area=160cm²

RS PQ Complete the proof that PQR = RSP
PIT_PIT [208]

Option D:

SAS

Solution:

Given \overline{R S} \ || \ \overline{P Q}

To prove that \triangle P Q R \cong \triangle R S P

In ΔPQR and ΔRSP,

\overline{R S}\cong\overline{P Q} (given side)

\overline{R S} \ || \ \overline{P Q} (given)

By alternative interior angle theorem,

∠PRS ≅ ∠QPR (angle)

By reflexive property of congruence,

\overline{PR } \cong \overline{PR} (side)

Hence by Side-Angle-Side (SAS) congruence rule,

ΔPQR ≅ ΔRSP

Option D is the correct answer.

Hence the missing reason is SAS.

slamgirl [31]

Answer:

length = 15 feet.

Step-by-step explanation:

This paper is 15 feet across on any side. Who will deliver this monster?

Area = s^2 where s is the length of 1 side.

Area = 225 feet^2  (You sure this isn't inches).

s^2 = area

s^2 = 225        Take the square root of both sides of the equation.

sqrt(s^2) = sqrt(225)

s = 15

A block of wood has the shape of a triangular prism. The base as right triangles. Find it’s surface area
postnew [5]

Answer:

18

Step-by-step explanation:

I think the attached phôt below is your full question.

<u>And here is my answer: </u>

Surface area of a triangular prism = hight * area of the base

Here we have:

  • h= 12
  • Area of the base = 1/2 *2* 1.5 = 1.5

=> Surface area = 12*1.5 = 18

Julie bought $8.64 worth of 57-cent stamps and 30-cent stamps. The number of 30-cent stamps was 6 less than the number of 57-cen
Yuri [45]

Answer:

The number of 57-cent stamps that Julie bought is 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation

0.57 s + 0.3 ( s − 6 ) = 8.64

Open bracket

0.57s + 0.3s - 1.8 = 8.64

Collect like terms

0.87s = 8.64 + 1.8

0.87s = 10.44

Divide both sides by 0.87

s = 12

The number of 57-cent stamps that Julie bought is 12
