Hello!

The square root of 4 would be 2.

The square root of a number is a number that can be multiplied by itself to get that number. For example, 6 would be the square root of 36 because when you multiply 6 by itself (6*6) you will get 36. Same thing with 4. When you multiply 2 by itself (2*2) you'll get 4 as your answer.

So the square root of 4 is 2

I hope this helps!

Which function represents a reflection of f(x) =
liubo4ka [24]

If your original equation was f(x) = 3(2)^x, then a reflection over the x-axis means you need all the y-values to switch sign.  This means you need to multiply that function by -1.

    g(x) = -1\cdot 3(2)^x or  g(x) = -3(2)^x

An angle in standard position measures 5п 8 radians. In which quadrant does the terminal side of this angle lie? O Quadrant I II
user100 [1]

Answer:

<em>I've attached a picture of a unit circle with the quadrant labeled. </em>

<u>Calculate the degree of 5п 8 radians:</u>

\frac{5\pi }{8} =\frac{5*180}{8} =\frac{900}{8} =112.5

<u>Locate the general location of 112.5° on the unit circle:</u>

It's between 120°(\frac{2\pi }{3}) and 90°(\frac{\pi }{2}).

<u>Find the quadrant it lies in:</u>

Quadrant II

If: \qquad AC = 64 AB = 7x + 8, and BC= 3x+6, Find BC
Nady [450]

The answer is 21.

First you Add both AB and BC which is 10x +14. Then you put 64 into the equation. 10x+14=64. Subtract 14 from 64 which is 50. So 10x=50. Then divide 10 from 50. which would be x=5. So if you plug it in. It would be 21.
