The current number of coupons being mailed out by a company each week in one region of the country can be represented by the fun

ction R(x) = 3x2 + 21x, where x is the number of cities in the region. The number of coupons in a new mailing sent only to preferred customers can be represented by the function P(x) = 9x.
Which function best describes C(x), the number of coupons that are shipped out in any given week?
A.
C(x) = 3x2 + 30x

B.
C(x) = 12x2 + 21x

C.
C(x) = 3x2 + 12x

D.

Find B round to the nearest tenth!!!! laws of cosines!!!!
AlexFokin [52]

Answer:

32.7°

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the formula for law of cosines, for this question we need so solve for angle B, so use...

b² = a² + c² - 2(a)(c)Cos B

We are given a, b, and c, so plug them in...

55² = 90² + 50² - 2(90)(50)Cos B

Now simplify...

3,025 = 8100 + 2500 - (9000)Cos B

   -7,575 = -(9000)Cos B   (subtract 8100 and 2500 from both sides)

            0.841666667 = Cos B    (divide both sides by -9000)

       Cos^(-1) 0.841666667 = B  (use cosine inverse function on calculator)

Write an equation to represent the following: Three consecutive integers add up to 11 more than the smallest.
mr Goodwill [35]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to assume the smallest integer.

Let,

the smallest integer is  x

So, the other two integers are-

x+1  and   x+2

Now,

the sum of these 3 integers is greater than smallest integer by  11

So, we get

x+(x+1)+(x+2) =x+11

This is the required equation.
