Mean basically means average/ all the numbers added together divided by the amount of numbers given to us

So all the numbers added up will equal to 51 (-5+-3+-1+6+6+9+9+10+10+10) now divide that by the number of of numbers me given to us which is 10 so

51/10= 5.1

Mean=5.1

(5x)/7 - x/14 = 9/7 solve for the unknown value this is a linear equation
Ahat [919]

Step-by-step explanation:

\longmapsto \rm \dfrac{5x}{7} - \dfrac{x}{14} = \dfrac{9}{7} \\

\longmapsto \rm \dfrac{10x + x}{14} = \dfrac{9}{7} \\

\longmapsto \rm \dfrac{11x}{14} = \dfrac{9}{7} \\

→ 11x(7) = 14(9)

→ 77x = 126

→ x = 126 ÷ 77

→ x = 1.63

What is the center of the circle for this equation:<br> (x + 3)² + (y - 2)² = 25
Ksju [112]

The formula for the equation of a circle is (x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

where (h, k) is the center of the circle and <em>r</em> is the radius.

So we need to find the values of (h, k) in order to find the center of the circle.

If we simply line up the equation of our given circle with our formula,

we can see that -h = 3 or h = -3 and -k = -2 so k = 2.

So now we have our answer.

center ⇒ (-3, 2)
