First you multiply the numerator and denominator. So 1 times 2 is 2. And 8 times 5 is 40 and then you simply it is 1/20 because 2 divide 2 is 1 and 40 divide 2 is 20 so it is 1/20.

1/8 plus 2/5=you dot know yet so let  me explain to you ok alright 5 can not go into 8 and 8 can not go into 5 so what you need to do is make the denominator 8 times 5 which equals 40. 40 will be both of the denominators then you will do 8 times 2 equal 16 then you will do 5 times 1 which equal5.1/8 is now5/40and2/5 is now 16/40 then you will multiply but when you fro keep the 40 and multiply the numerator .You may have to simplify.

Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

The system of equations is:

a+s = 250\\5a+2.50s = 837.50

Here a is the number of adult tickets and s is the number of student tickets

Step-by-step explanation:

We will use the given statements to make a system of equations for the given scenario.

First of all we have to decide which variables to be used.

Let a be the number of adult tickets and

Let s be the number of student tickets

So according to the statement that the department sold 250 tickets in total, the equation will be:

a+s = 250

This is equation one of the system of equations

According to the statement that cost of adult ticket is $5, total cost of adult tickets will be: 5a

According to the statement that cost of student ticket is $2.50, total cost of student tickets will be:2.50s

The total earning was $837.50 so the second equation will be:

5a+2.50s = 837.50

Hence,

The system of equations is:

a+s = 250\\5a+2.50s = 837.50

Here a is the number of adult tickets and s is the number of student tickets

Answer: 35
Each triangle adds up to 180 degrees by adding the two angles that you already have the value of (37+108) and subtract it from 180 to get the final angle(x) you get 35

Therefore x=35 :)
