By finding the derivative of that equation, we can find the least value. Derivative will give us
v'=(20.8 x^{2} -458.3x+3500)'
41.6x-458.3. Setting this to zero we find that x≈11.017

Alternatively, we can find the vertex coordinates of that equation. And again we'll get the same result. In the attached picture, you can see this result much more clearly.

Finally, the year is going to be 1985

An investment firm wants to create a billboard that displays an enlarged $1,000,000 bill. The actual size of the bill is 2.61 in
Mandarinka [93]

We know how wide the billboard will be. Therefore, to know how much the original image should be enlarged, you must divide the final width of the billboard between the current width of the invoice.

We know both data, then we perform the operation:

48 feet /6.14 inches = 7.81 feet / inches .

Therefore the correct answer is option D. 1″ = 7.81′

For the bill to cover the billboard, the bill must be expanded by a factor of 7.81 feet long per inch long that has the original image.

Finger [1]

Answer: -8^{\circ}C

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The temperature on Tuesday is 1^{\circ}C

Temperature drops to -2^{\circ}C on Wednesday

Net drop in temperature 1-(-2)=3^{\circ}C

The temperature drops twice from Wednesday to Thursday

\Delta T=2\times 3=6^{\circ}C

Temperature on Thursday

\Rightarrow -2-6=-8^{\circ}C
