studies are always more important than sports, because studies have more  job opportunities than sports. If you are good at your school subjects than there will be many possibilities to get into a good collage and  a good or decent paying job, but with sports on the other hand its much harder to get a scholarship and your preformance has to be perfect to almost perfect  and quite frankly the average sports scholarships is less than $11,000 which if you look at it isnt that much. And you are more prone to getting injuries.
