The mean of four numbers is 43. What are those four numbers?

Mathematics

Andrej [43]2 years ago
7 0

Answer:

42,43,43,44

Step-by-step explanation:

If there are four numbers in a list then the middle 2 numbers should be added up and divided up to give the mean. If we are given the mean we can now work backwards to give us:

\frac{x+y}{2} (where x and y are the 2 middle numbers)

We can also see that x and y must be equal as the mean is an integer.

So:

43=\frac{2x}{2}

So x=43 and that is the middle 2 numbers.

I don't exactly know how to explain how i got the other 2 numbers.

I need help with this promblem it’s ALGEBRA 2!
AlekseyPX

Answer:

(f\circ h)(2)=2

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Composite Function </u>

Given f(x) and h(x) real functions, the composite function named (f\circ h)(x) is defined as:

(f\circ h)(x)=f(h(x))

It can be found by substituting h into f.

We are given the functions:

f(x)=2x^2-9x+2

h(x)=x^2-4

It's required to find (f\circ h)(2)

As defined above:

(f\circ h)(x)=f(h(x))

Thus:

(f\circ h)(2)=f(h(2))

Find h(2):

h(2)=2^2-4=0

h(2)=0

Now:

(f\circ h)(2)=2(0)^2-9(0)+2

(f\circ h)(2)=2

What steps should be taken to calculate the volume of the right triangular prism? Select three options.
Mariana [72]

Answer:

Options A, D and E.

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula to calculate the volume of the triangular prism is,

Volume of the triangular prism = (Area of the triangular base)×(height)

                                                    = B × h

Area of the right triangular base = \frac{1}{2}(\text{Base})(\text{height})

                                                      = \frac{1}{2}(8)(14)

                                                      = 56 m²

Volume of the prism = (56)(7)

                                                      = 392 cubic meter

Therefore, from the given options correct options are Option A, Option D and Option E.
