  • The genotypic frequency is q² =  0.04
  • The allelic frequency is q = √0.04 = 0.2

Having the recessive allelic frequency, we can get the dominant allelic frequency, by clearing the following equation,

p + q = 1

p = 1 - q

p = 1 - 0.2
