Answer:

theoretical yield 73g, actual yield 65g

explanation:

\% \: yield = \frac{actual \: yield}{theoretical \: yield} \times 100

1)

\frac{45}{52} \times 100 = 86.5\%

2)

\frac{37}{39} \times 100 = 9.49\%

3)

\frac{65}{73} \times 100 = 89.0\%

4)

\frac{20}{23} \times 100 = 87.0\%

as you can see the third one (89.0%) has the highest percent yield: theoretical yield 73g, actual yield 65g

A compound is formed when 12.2 g Mg combines completely with 5.16 g N. What is the percent composition of this compound? Please
Debora [2.8K]
3Mg + N₂= Mg₃N₂
n(Mg)=12,2g÷24,4g/mol=0,5mol-limiting reagentn
(N₂)=5,16g÷28g/mol=0,18mol
n(Mg₃N₂):n(Mg)=1:3, n(Mg₃N₂)=0,166mol, m(Mg₃N₂)=0,166·101,2=16,8g.
%(N)= 2·Ar(N)÷Mr(Mg₃N₂) = 2·14÷101,2=27,66%=0,2766
%(Mg) = 3·Ar(Mg)÷Mr(Mg₃N₂)= 3·24,4÷101,2=72,34% or 100% - 27,66%= 72,34%.

Nucleus of tritium contains....neutrons......protons
stira [4]

Answer:

C = 2 and 1

Explanation:

An atom consist of electron, protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons are present with in nucleus while the electrons are present out side the nucleus.

All these three subatomic particles construct an atom. A neutral atom have equal number of proton and electron. In other words we can say that negative and positive charges are equal in magnitude and cancel the each other

The nucleus of tritium contain two neutrons and one protons.

Tritium is the isotopes of hydrogen whit atomic mass 3 amu. The other two isotopes of hydrogen are protium and deuterium.

The atomic mass of deuterium is two amu having one proton and one neutron and atomic mass of protium is one having one proton and zero neutron.

All isotopes have same atomic number one.

Isotope:

The isotope of an element have same number of protons but different number of neutrons thus having same atomic number and different atomic mass.
